Behind our name...
M&A Riverside Beach Bungalows derives its name from our two children McKinley Jr. and Aundreya.
We have endeavored to provide them with the best from their Palauan and Guamanian cultures and it is that same desire to leave a lasting foundation for the future that inspired us to build this beautiful piece of Paradise.
As a family we built M&A Riverside Beach Bungalows from the ground up and are just as delighted to be sharing it with families that visit us.
Inspiration for our logo...
Our logo reflects a very special part of our family's business: a uniquely shaped coconut tree with a modified buoy-lantern tied around the trunk. As a distinct part of M&A Riverside Beach Bungalows, we even built our restaurant around this unique coconut tree. You have to see it for yourself!
Some other interesting information about us...
Since we are located at least 30 miles away from the city, it’s still an undeveloped area that has not been affected by the development of the island. It’s where you can still enjoy pristine and natural foliage everywhere you look.
For this reason, it took us some time to complete the building of our bungalows. We began by cutting all the coconut trees down to the stumps to clear the area, but left all the other older trees. It has taken us 2 years to complete the removal of all coconut trees and stumps, the construction of 4 bungalows, 2 summerhouses, a restaurant and all other buildings . As a close knit family, we have all put in our ideas and thoughts into the development of our unique bungalows.
